KOMAK just finalised the production of 4 pieces OH2 pumps. The 4 hours test-run was concluded succesfully.
The pumps are going to Georgia and have been specially designed to the client's requirements. Amongst the special requirements were Russian seals and seal plans from TREM and Russian motors from Ruselprom.

The pump was installed in ICELAND by the KOMAK installation and commissioning team.
Duty:1350m3@15m water at discharge.
The pump is driven through a frequency converter.
The length off the pump under the base is 22 meter.
Material used: CD3MN (Duplex steel) for all wetted parts
Motor: 150kW / 4 pole
We are extremely happy with the very low vibrations level of < 1.3 mm/s on duty, this is considered extremely low for such a large pump.
Over the last period KOMAK has seen the interest and the sales figures growing when it comes to the MENA region. So far, the area had only received irregular attention and no structural efforts were made to develop the region.
We are happy to announce Ing. Medhat Saad El-Din Hamed (in short Medhat Hamed) has joined the KOMAK team. He will be operating from his basis in Cairo. Medhat has a long history in the pump industry and a long history with the KOMAK management.
For one of our customers KOMAK supplied and installed a vertical turbine pump on a potable water application.
Water is pumped from a lake up the mountain to the process plant.
